The Theatre Knights welcome and encourage new scriptwriting with a view for future production. If you are a scriptwriter and you would like your scripts to be considered for future development and production, send them to us and our Script Development Committee will review and critique your work and you will receive a written response from us within 6 weeks of receipt of scripts.

 

The rules for submission are:

-Scripts must be printed or typed on one side of A4 paper. No handwritten submissions will be accepted

-The cover page should contain the Script Title, the name of the author(s) followed by the address of the author(s). Telephone and email details are optional.

-The 2nd page should list the complete Dramatis Personae and description of each character

-Each page must be individually numbered at the bottom of each page. The Title should appear at the top of each page

-Scripts must be accompanied by a cover letter giving a short bio of yourself and your writing and a synopsis of your play. The synopsis should describe the genre and outline of the play

-Scripts must be posted to the following address

-Send a Stamped Address Envelope so that your critique can be posted. We cannot return your script by post so please ensure that you have ample copies of your own before posting.

-Scripts submitted by email will not be considered.
